WOLF'S LAWS
Over time, I have developed a series of sayings I call Wolf's Laws. Follow the laws and prosper; ignore them and fail. Here are a few of Wolf's Laws:
1. Your legal rights are like a block of ice - sit on them and they will melt away.
2. Convenience costs more.
3. You are not so rich you can afford to buy cheap.
4. With law firms, big doesn't mean smart.
5. Doing it yourself means doing it twice.
6. If it sounds too good to be true, it IS too good to be true.
7. Never trust a broker or anyone they recommend. Avoid one-stop shopping.
8. If you don't understand it, don't sign it.
9. In any language, the words "Trust Me" means "Let Me Cheat You."
10. If you don't know the answer to a question, don't pretend you do or make one up.
11. It's usually cheaper to hire a lawyer before you get into trouble, than to get into trouble first and then hire one.
12. You can't change your reality until you change you.
13. If what you are doing isn't working, stop doing it and do something else.
14. An oral promise is worth the paper it's printed on.
